Washington Post Gets Exclusive Scoop And Nobody Cared

The Washington Post
Once a pillar in American political news, the Washington Post’s most recent exclusive was… wait for it… on the naming of the Obama’s new dog.
Apparently the paper struck a deal with the First Lady‘s office to gain exclusivity on the story which was first posted to the paper’s web site on Saturday night.
With all that is going on right now, it’s sort of astounding that anyone from the paper would even consider chasing this story, let alone going so far as striking deals to get the puppy poop-scoop.
It’s no wonder that the online buzz for this story includes plenty of words like “relic” and “irrelevant” in describing today’s Washington Post.
By the way, the Obama’s daughters reportedly picked the name “Bo” for their puppy.
