This story has been steadily gaining momentum. A woman who, on first appearance, didn’t impress the judges or audiance as she took the stage of Britain’s Got Talent, bellowed out such a wonderful melody that in days the clip has seen over 50 million views on YouTube, and now Susan Boyle is becoming a household name on multiple continents.

It really does have a fairytale feel. An unemployed, very average looking woman who has spent years caring for her mother, claims she’s never been kissed, gets quickly pre-judged by the celebrity panel as well as viewers when she takes the stage, then suddenly shocks the world with a vocal performance that becomes an instant “must hear” sensation.

All we can say is that Britain does have talent, and Susan Boyle deserves every ray of spotlight she receives.
