Jet America Airlines
The inter-webs are all a buzz about Jet America Airlines today. The airline has been fighting to expand its market, recently talking with Pittsburgh as a possible new route hub.
But expansion plans aren’t the hot topic, its that Jet America is offering $9 non-stop one-way tickets between the cities it already services. These include New York (via Newark), Toledo/Detroit, Minneapolis/St. Paul, South Bend, Orlando and Melbourne.
Most folks seem surprised and pleased with the destination choices available for just $9. One woman said, “When I heard it was $9 I thought, sure, if you’re going to Never-heard-of-ville in Utah or something, but if I can go from New York to Orlando for that rate this is a great deal.”
Of course there is a catch to the $9 deal. It’s only the first 9 seats sold for each flight that are sold at that rate. If you’re the 10 passenger to buy a ticket on the flight then you’ll pay full price
